Our friendly local galaxy has a central black hole of some 4 million suns worth of mass. How many total are in this galaxy? I need a guess, so just say, E8, 100 milion. How many galaxies are there, or guess a characteristic separation. Not knowing, let’s guess E6 light-years, since our Milky Way is about E5 light years in diameter. If one typical galaxy occupies on the order of E 18 cubic light-years, how many are there in the UNIVERSE????????? I am reading cosmology calculus, and both total radius and volume are somewhat larger, like factors of 3, or π.
OH MY, THESE NUMBERS ARE NOT SO BAD !!!!!
STEVE ALBERS, FRONT AND CENTER PLEASE !!!!!
