Yesterday I acknowledged ignorance and found solace of page 19 of my textbook. I just turned the page, and read what I had forgotten:
THE INNER PRODUCT OF A COVARIANT WITH A CONTRAVARIANT VECTOR, IS INVARIANT. Selah, wow: Steve Albers, let us lurch onward now. The radial vector in Kerr is multiplied by g^11, and the tangent component, by g^22.
What of my intuitions about energy density relating to local volume measure??? Not to worry,  but I do not yet SEE.
