Only now can I see what hath been wrought in my near-fields… this refers to the little curves near the axis. There, the vacuum is being “pulled sideways”, I guess. Approaching the ring edge from outside (on the right) the field very close in, drops to zero…

If the outer size is not quite 3000k, then we see 5/6 of sin(theta_K) so these are field lines every what, 10 degrees in the far ???

Yes, this corresponds to the stated 10. degree value of ‘dtheta’.

Exxxcellent, thanks. We do nice work. The DKS numerator for radial field is (-r^2 + cos^2 ); the tangential field has ‘r’ in the numerator.
