ANALYSIS AT THE RING EDGE

Help, I lost my post in editing. HERE, haaaaaaaaa.

2r^2 = k^2 + √(y^4 + 4y^2),   and given that y≤k, the higher exponents make terms smaller. SOOO:   2r^2 =  2y,  AHAH,  OR  if r is set = k,   then k^2 = y, and this is not just one over 3,000, but yea even closer………….. HAVE WE NEED TO GO HERE???
